Thursday morning tea at Dansey’s Pass pub. Thursday 2 course dinner at Royal Hotel. Friday Breakfast at Larchview Holiday park. Admin, Tour guides and cuppa tea fees…
Meet at Dansies Pass Hotel for morning tea between 10am and 10.30pm.
Load up into the 4WD’s – If you don’t have a 4WD we’ll assign you a seat with a friendly driver (you can buy them a drink with dinner). Drive up to Mt Buster and explore around the diggings. BYO picnic for a rustic lunch in the hills!
Head on down and collect vehicles from the Dansey’s Pass pub before carrying on to another couple of points of interest a little closer to Naseby.
Head to our accommodations at The Royal Hotel or Larchview Holiday Park We will have a yummy two course diner at the Royal at 6pm.
Breakfast at Larchview Holiday Camp special spread from Terry. Then 4WD pooling again and out to West Eweburn Dam and waterfall before onto the Garibaldi diggings. Quite a bit to see here and an interesting chat from the land owner Tony Clarke.
For lunch if you’re heading south I suggest the Waipiata Hotel or for those of us driving north maybe the Oturehua Pub?
Bring sturdy walking boots, warm clothes, rain jacket… all the usual stuff.
Fees include admin, gifts for guest speakers, afternoon tea on the Thursday and morning tea on the Friday.
