Golden Point and Mareburn Reefs 7^th and 8^th December 2013 Registration Form.

Saturday 7th December meet at McRae’s mine for a tour of their operation. Lunch at the local pub then on to the Golden Point Stamper and see one of the few remaining operational Stampers in full noise! Then we head for Hyde with a little detour to Nenthorn (bring your own afternoon tea). Group dinner that evening at the Hyde Hotel – we have all the rooms booked out but they can only hold them until early September. (so get in and secure your bed early! Rail Trail season will be in full swing)

Sunday will start with a group continental breakfast at the Hotel again then we will fill up what 4WD vehicles we have among us and get lead around Mt Highlay Station to look at the Mareburn Reefs which have been forever chronicled thanks very much to the tireless work of late member Richard Beeby. (Bring your own morning tea – you will be able to refill your thermoses at the hotel before we leave after breakfast).
