A Great weekend in South Otago!

Many thanks to Bill Cowan and the Tuapeka Mouth community who came together to host a field trip of 27 Otago Goldfields Heritage Trust Members. Come in Time Battery signage completed!

It’s only taken 6 years (don’t ask), but finally the Come in Time Battery located at the Bendigo end of Thomson Gorge road has its interpretation panels in place. Posts and panels were errected by DOC staff in conjuntion with Mike Floate and Bruce McMillan from our trust who’ve had much input into these signs…
